Data show that the output of major products in the machinery industry decreased by nearly 40% from January to April

According to statistics from the China Machinery Industry Federation, from January to April this year, the production and sales of China's machinery industry maintained a steady growth, but the growth rate fell sharply from the previous year, and nearly 40% of the main product output fell. From January to April, the total output value of the machinery industry was 546.63 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.13%, and the growth rate dropped by 15.58 percentage points; the industrial sales output value was 531.387 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.45%, and the growth rate dropped by 16.33 percentage points. Of the 119 major products monitored by the association, from January to April, 74 kinds of output increased by 62% year-on-year, and 45 types of output decreased by 38%. The decline in production of so many products has been rare in recent years. From January to April, the production and sales rate of machinery products was 97.21%, a year-on-year decrease of 0.59 percentage points, indicating that sales difficulties were more serious.
