Guangdong Provincial High-end Equipment Collaborative Innovation Center Signs Contract

On August 21, 2012, the seminar and signing ceremony for the “High-end Equipment Collaborative Innovation Center for Manufacturing Industry in Guangdong Province” was held in South China University of Technology. The center was held by South China University of Technology, Tsinghua University, and Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society, Guangdong Institute of Automation, Guangzhou Hong Kong HKUST Huoyingdong Research Institute, and Donghua Machinery Co., Ltd., Guangdong Yizhimi Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., Bochuang Machinery Co., Ltd., Guangzhou CNC Equipment Co., Ltd. , Guangdong Jinming Precision Machinery, Foshan Fosu Technology Group, Blonde Technology, Guangdong Leshan Machinery, Guangdong Liansu and other enterprises jointly established, the goal is to build a national-level collaborative innovation base for the advanced level of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Guangdong Province.

The meeting was chaired by Yu Qijun, assistant to the president of South China University of Technology. Highly converged and deeply integrated to carry out collaborative innovation research and development work in the high-end equipment manufacturing sector in Guangdong Province. The Collaborative Innovation Center has established an information platform for public S&T resources in accordance with the principle of “openness, sharing, and compensation” to realize the openness and conditional sharing of equipment, research facilities, and scientific and technological achievements within the innovation system.
