Silane, that is, the compound of silicon and hydrogen, is a general term for a series of compounds, including silane (SiH4), ethyl silane (Si2H6) and some more advanced silicon hydrogen-derived compounds, the general formula is SinH2n+2 or hydrogen is substituted by other functional groups after the derivative, of which silane is the most common, sometimes referred to as silane.
