The relevant person of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that the issuance of the outdated catalog of high energy-consuming and outdated electromechanical equipment is an important measure to further strengthen the energy conservation management of enterprises and energy-consuming units and improve the efficiency of energy use. According to the requirements, each production and use unit should implement the elimination of the equipment listed in this catalog. The production unit should immediately stop production. The use unit should stop using and replace the high-efficiency energy-saving equipment within the prescribed time limit. Energy conservation supervision agencies at all levels shall strengthen the supervision and inspection of the elimination of equipment listed in this Catalogue.
