Mention 28 bicycles, I believe everyone will not be unfamiliar, but if someone tells you, can you believe that you can install a six-cylinder engine for 28 bicycles?

Not long ago, at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show in Austin, Texas, a custom-made modified car called THE SIX was particularly eye-catching. The minimalist style of this car is similar to the 28-bar we know, but the large six-cylinder engine is really amazing.

THE SIX comes from the hands of the modified master Revival Cycles.

Evival Cycles saw a photo of a 1929 classic motorcycle, attracted by the shape of the motorcycle in the photo, and also gained a lot of inspiration, decided to build a personalized motorcycle with a classic shape.

According to the preliminary concept, the final decision was made to use the classic six-cylinder engine on the Honda CBX in the 1980s as the power core, with the 28-inch narrow spoke wheel front and rear, and draw the expected concept map.

According to the concept map, the Revival Cycles team first used the form of steel pipe welding to make the main frame. Then connect the huge six-cylinder engine to the frame and design a unique six-out exhaust for the engine. The hand-welded triangular fuel tank is placed above the engine.

After the frame and engine are completed, the front and rear rocker arms are produced. The rocker arm is very unique in shape and has a single rocker arm at the front and rear, while the front wheel is also specially designed for easy steering. The front and rear shock absorbers are designed above the engine and are connected to the front and rear rocker arms by the support rods.

This car is not equipped with the traditional drum brake method. Instead, the brake disc is mounted on the drive shaft of the engine and the chain drive. By directly decelerating the drive shaft, the chain is controlled to reduce the rotation speed of the rear wheel to form a unique brake mode.

The hub is made of front and rear aluminum plated 28-inch spoke-type narrow wheels.

The handlebar adopts an extremely simple design and uses the linkage linkage to control the front wheel steering. The throttle line and the clutch line are connected from the inside of the handlebar to the handlebar, the left handle is the clutch, the right handle is the throttle, and the shift lever is also changed to the hand gear design and placed on the right side of the fuel tank.

After several weeks, Revival Cycles finally completed the stunning “artwork” and then tested it on the Austin track in the United States and made a splash at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show.
