It is a professional R&D and manufacturing enterprise for high-performance internal combustion engine pistons, and the only military internal combustion engine piston in China. The development center is also the largest middle and high-grade internal combustion engine piston production base in China. According to the staff, Jiangbin Pistons can produce single-metal cast aluminum alloys with a diameter of 60-250mm, single-metal forged aluminum alloys, double-metal insert rings and internal cooling oil passages, double-metal steel-aluminum combinations, and bimetal forge-casting electronics. Internal combustion engine pistons for various materials and applications such as beam welding, single metal all-steel, etc.

At the exhibition site, Mr. Zhang Jun, Director of Product Research Institute of Jiangbin Piston's Technology Center, said in an interview with a reporter from China Truck Network: “The Jiangbin Piston is positioned in high-end products with high added value and is made from military products. From 1988 to 1997, it took nine years to introduce foreign technology and actively explored the civilian engine parts and components market, successfully realizing the historical transformation of the main business 'military transfer to civilians'."

Among the many products on the scene, Director Zhang specially introduced the inner cooling oil piston. "This product can reduce the first ring groove temperature of the piston and reduce the emission pollution. Compared with the traditional technology, this product is compared with the bottom injection cooling. The advantage is that the piston can withstand much more power."

In addition to the internal cooling oil piston, Director Zhang also briefed the reporter on several other important products of the Jiangbin Piston: the combined piston and pendulum piston. The combined piston adopts a complex section of the cooling oil gallery, and the oil cavity is formed by the combination of the head and the skirt. This product is lighter and more clever than a cast iron piston, which can be 28% lighter by weight. Its advantage is that it can reduce the inertia force in the actual operation, and greatly improve the piston's resistance to heat load. The pendulum piston's working principle is that the huge gas explosion pressure is directly transmitted through the steel top to the piston pin and the connecting rod. The piston skirt of this piston is cast from high-quality aluminum and is very thin, which can compensate for thermal deformation caused by uneven heating. In addition, the gap between the cylinder and the skirt is very small, so this piston has excellent guiding performance.

Director Zhang very proudly told reporters: “Our products are mainly supported by Weichai, Yuchai, Xichai, Chongqing Cummins, China National Heavy Duty Truck, Nanjing Iveco and other brands, because we have special military technology, product quality is excellent, so there Supply exceeds demand. Currently, the annual production capacity is 5 million.” The reporter also learned that in terms of environmental protection, Jiangbin Piston's products are in line with the Euro 3 and Euro 4 standards, and even the Euro 5 technology has matured, waiting for the market only.

Talking about the future, Director Zhang outlined a beautiful blueprint for the reporters. “In the future we plan to expand production capacity and make up for the current gap of two million.
