Promote application and other aspects to build a closer and more stable relationship; in addition, we will strengthen cooperation in vehicle announcement, standard setting, database construction, etc., to achieve complementary advantages and information sharing. According to the reporter's understanding, as early as 2009, Mengguli Power Company began to cooperate with SAIC's Shenwo Bus Company on new energy buses. At the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, 120 vehicles provided by SAIC Group Shenwo Bus Company. In the pure electric bus project using lithium-ion battery system, Mengguli Power Company provided 116 sets of power battery products for 60 of the pure electric buses. These vehicles were merged into Shanghai after completing the mission of the Expo. public transport system. At present, Menggu Li is providing battery systems for Shenwo's hybrid buses and plug-in hybrid buses, which will be used for bus operations in Shanghai Pudong and Puxi.
The official signing of the strategic cooperation between SAIC and the alliance will further broaden the scope of cooperation between the two parties in the new energy vehicles. In the future, new energy vehicles such as the SAIC Roewe series are expected to be equipped with the Mengguli power battery system. Among the domestic power battery backbone enterprises, the application of Mengguli power battery products has covered energy-saving and new energy vehicles of various technical routes such as pure electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid. According to the person in charge, “As the subsidy policy for hybrid buses has not been introduced, the market is not prosperous, but our products have been recognized by customers for their stable performance and high fuel economy. Therefore, we have maintained good sales. Since the first half of the year, Mengguli has obtained more than 1,000 sets of hybrid bus battery orders. Compared with the plug-in hybrid bus, the overall sales volume of the industry has soared due to favorable policies. Mengguli has sold nearly 600 sets of plug-in hybrid passenger car power battery products. After entering the second half of the year, the company will gradually shift its product promotion focus to plug-in hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles.
According to statistics, the company's products have occupied nearly 20% of the market share in the energy-saving and new-energy vehicle power battery system with lithium battery as the power system. It is expected that the sales of Mengguoli in 2014 will reach about 400 million yuan.
