Volkswagen launches Austrian vehicle recall plan next year

According to the Austrian Ministry of Transport, Austria will start a recall plan with reference to the German practice, which will be implemented by Porsche Austrian Holding Group. It is estimated that the first batch of recall plans will start early next year.

It is reported that the entire recall plan will likely last for nearly a year. Some vehicles only need to upgrade their car software, while others need to update their hardware, but new parts may not be ready until next September. At present, the German Volkswagen Group is making technical preparations for the solution and will be overseen by the relevant German authorities after the completion of the technical improvement and recall plan.

Recently, an Austrian news agency survey showed that 47% of drivers think that the actual fuel consumption of their driving car is slightly higher than the reference value given by the manufacturer, and 15% of the respondents believe that the actual fuel consumption is much higher than the reference value. .
