Transition from electric to hybrid

BYD began trying to enter the hybrid vehicle market in 2008. In December of that year, it officially launched F3DM to the market, but the market has not been able to accept it. For the next four years, Toyota has successively introduced Lexus hybrid models and hybrid Camry in the Chinese market, and Honda and European and American brands have begun introducing hybrids. However, according to the latest data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, only 1,416 plug-in hybrid vehicles were sold in China in 2012.

Different from before, the prospect of hybrid vehicles has been recognized by most car companies.
