Subsea Industries introduces a new UV protection coating

Recently, Subsea Industries has added a new UV protection coating to its non-toxic and environmentally safe marine hardcoat range.

The new coating, called the Ecolast coating, provides a high level of corrosion and wear protection, retaining the most original coating color.

During the 2016 Hamburg Maritime Exhibition, Manuel Hof, product executive and coating inspector of Subsea Industries, said, â€œWhen the ship is coated with Ecolast, it can protect the ship from salt, UV radiation, sea wolves and even ice. The coating indicates that the mechanical damage suffered will also be minimized and completely impervious to water."

The Ecolast coating requires only a complete coating twice, without the need for primers and additional coatings, and is fast and easy to handle for shipyards.
