Dang Ping tungsten ore beneficiation plant in Baoshan is designed and constructed in 1967, the scale of 350t / d.
First, the nature of the ore
The Baoshan mining area is a skarn-type scheelite deposit. Metallic minerals are plant scheelite, galena, sphalerite, yellow copper ore, pyrrhotite, pyrite, gangue minerals hedenbergite, fluorite, orthoclase, garnet sub-stone, actinolite, chlorite, sericite and kaolin.
The scheelite and sulphide ore are symbiotic, especially in sync with pyrrhotite, and a small amount of monomeric scheelite is produced in quartz . The scheelite has a particle size of usually 0.1-0.2 mm, a larger of 0.6 mm and a minimum of 0.016 mm.
Sphalerite is produced in small blocks in skarn fractures and is closely associated with chalcopyrite. The particles are generally 0.24 mm, a maximum of 0.75 mm and a minimum of 0.064 mm. The zinc sphalerite in zinc minerals accounts for about 10%, which is more difficult to choose.
The tungsten minerals in the ore are mainly scheelite (according to the phase analysis, scheelite accounts for 87%), and a small amount of tungsten and black tungsten ore. The multi-element analysis of raw ore is shown in Table 1.

Second, the process
Broken into a three-stage closed circuit process. The maximum size of the ore is 450mm and the final particle size is 10mm. Grinding is a closed circuit, and flotation is a partial priority flotation. The lead-zinc float tail is made of “731†oxidized paraffin soap floating white tungsten plant. The selected pulp is not concentrated, and no temperature is added. The sodium carbonate is used to adjust the slurry to keep the pH between 8.5-9 and the scheelite. This is the plant. The characteristics of the production process. The stellite ore flotation process uses two coarse, three sweep, and five fine. The selected scheelite concentrates are all Grade I scheelite concentrates. The symbiotic copper and sulfur useful elements are also recycled in production. The process of the concentrator is shown in Figure 1.
